So the Art show at Three Layers is still on for tomorrow night, come hell or high water (and I hear the St. Johns and come over the banks so that's very possible). I know most of Jacksonville is experiencing some cabin fever about now seeing as it has rained for 4 days straight so come out and have fun and drink some delicious sangria and eat some delicious cake.

Oh, and maybe buy some art, Sarah's got quite a few new pieces that haven't made it onto Flickr yet (we don't have a decent digital camera yet, so all of the pictures that are new came from a cell phone camera. sorry).

It's time for a fay-cation. I got some Red Stripe and some bar B Q and I'm ready to weather the storm.

As well as the water and first aid kit and all of that stuff the news has been screaming at me to get, but seriously, it's a tropical storm, not a Katrina or Andrew. We'll get alot of rain, some wind, lose power for a few minutes and maybe a tree branch in our yard, but I doubt it's going to be the disaster that the news is making it out to be (for jacksonville that is, other parts of the state are experiencing some serious flooding).

First post in the new blog.

Sarah has an art show coming up this saturday and everyonbe should go. I plan on making 4 gallons of sangria and buying plenty of PBRs for everyone to drink so come on out, have a drinl, have a good time and enjoy some good art.

Who knows, maybe even buy a piece?
